A handmade ceramic mantel clock by Ian Roberts of Stonesplitter, finished with a copper-toned raku glaze. This is Copper A, identified by the little mouse on the right when viewed from the front.

The photographs show this individual clock. Its glaze, crackle and hand-finished details make it a distinctive piece for a mantelpiece, shelf or sideboard.

  • Approximately 28 cm high.
  • Handmade in Ian Roberts’ pottery studio in the UK Midlands.
  • One individual clock; the piece pictured is the piece offered.

Raku firing gives the glaze its varied colour, texture and crackle. Small variations are part of the character of the handmade piece.
