Collection: Black Rose Ceramics, Nigel Gossage
My life in ceramics began many years ago when I entered a shop in Canterbury selling handmade pottery and vowed that I would learn to throw pots.
After training at Goldsmiths College, I went on to hone my skills working for a number of country potteries and for myself.
Eventually, I changed course and taught English for 35 years before returning to my old metier
.
Nowadays I specialise in Raku but also occasionally produce stoneware and porcelain.
