Collection: Sandra Wadkin

Sandra was born near Birmingham in the West Midlands. Her commercial art career started early started selling commissions of animals. After time spent in retail management and new homes construction, she studied Art and Design at college. Then going on to study for her degree in Fine Art.

Sandra has exhibited successfully winning art prizes such as the Aesthetica Magazine art prize in York and has also shown at some larger venues, such as in the Coalesce exhibition at the Truman Brewery Gallery in London. She has been prevalent exhibiting and selling her work in local galleries for a number of years and recently won the Stratford upon Avon Montpellier award for her fractured series.

Sandra’s work is influenced by nature and her love of people watching and psychology. She works in series producing work that is aesthetically interesting but also created in specific ways to make the viewer think about hidden meanings.
