“I am a landscape artist who is obsessed with skies and the way that light changes everything.
When I paint I like to convey a journey through my landscapes so I often highlight pathways or tracks that take you through them.
My style is semi-abstract and I work with oil paints with cold wax to build up several layers of colour. Then I blend and cut through these layers, while they are still wet, exposing different colours and working spontaneously with the effects this creates.
My inspiration comes from the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside and stunning Cornish coastline.”
